Anti-Anxiety Meds

Does anyone have any experience with Clomipramine? When i took Comet to the vet the other week, I told him that Comet has been very anxious and obsessively licks his front paws to the point where he's starting to get bald spots. The vet put him on Clomipramine and I'm hoping it doesn't change his happy-go-lucky personality.

I love the Mar Vista vet website for any medication questions. here is there write up on Clomipramine. My only experience is seeing it given to other dogs at the vet I worked at. Mostly for separation anxiety and it seemed to work really well.
