My corgi, Honey had TPLO surgery on her back left leg. This procedure is very expensive and proper aftercare is absolutely essential to ensure that the repair is successful!
I am suppose to keep her confined to a small area for 8 weeks; no activity at ALL! AND keep her away from the other dogs!!! This is getting close to impossible and I'm only on the first week. Any suggestions? Are there any other corgi's out there that have had this procedure? We're going stir crazy here!!!

This is poor Honey post op.
There is a site, orthodogs, that can give you lots of advice. I think it's orthodogs.com. There is a Corgi who had some type of surgery but I think it was on his back leg. Anyway, they can give you ideas for activities, quiet kinds, to keep her mind busy and also help with ways to get her out to potty without harming her surgery. They are also a caring group who offer a shoulder to cry on for owners during this time.
Thanks, I'll check it out!
