It's been a long while since I've posted anything. Unfortunately my guy Gunny, who is now 12 years old, has been diagnosed with having two masses ( on small one a bit larger) in the spleen. Has anyone here had a Corgi that was diagnosed with anything like this? We don't know yet if the masses are benign or malignant . Any and all input appreciated .
Vets seem to be saying only surgical removal of spleen is the way to go. It's the only way to know for sure whar kind of nodes they are and eliminates the high risk of rupturing spontaneously. We are beyond stressed out over making a decision.
He had a 24 hour bug of puking , loose poops and finally slight blood in his poop. Which caused us to bring him to vet in the first place...resulting in X-ray of abdominal area.
He is back to his old well self and you would never guess that there is a potential danger growing inside his spleen.

I have not had experience with this ......  however, I wish you the best as you go through dealing with Gunny's situation.  Hopeful that at least the masses are not malignant.
