I never payed too much attention to this, but my mom is making me worry. every time my 4 month old corgi wakes up from a nap she sort of drags her legs for a second. i think its just stretching but of course my mom worries over everything... is this just part of stretching? does anyone elses corgi do this?

If the image in my head is correct, then it is perfectly normal. My 4 year old does this every time she gets up to greet me. A front leg stretch and a back leg drag until she gets to me and she stretches to the floor like superman. My corgi also does this with slightly lowered (relaxed ears), so i think it is a submissive/calm approch.

Hope this helped!
Sounds like normal stretch procedure to me. :) Sometimes, mine adds a cat-like hunch-stretch with his back.
Kalvin does this all the time! Unless she looks like she is in pain when she does it you should have nothing to worry about! My mom always stresses my life out with Kalvin every little thing he does she is like "Oh no whats wrong with Kalvin is he sick? Your not paying attention to him he is sad" And I am like MOM!!!! He is fine! She just likes to baby HIS WHOLE LIFE! Lol.
She's fine! Corgi's legs are so short they drag when they stretch. One of mine does that, then kinda sits back on his back legs and stretches his front out. Which is hysterical because this also 'burps' him and he makes a low sound that sounds like he's saying "hello". I got to get that on tape someday!!
Vivi does it too! He also stretches with his front legs down and his hind end up, and he makes the cutest little growl in the morning. I have a video of it.. I just need to upload it.
Oh yup! Oliver does this every morning and has since the day I got him (10/29/2009). I think it's the cutest thing!
Yup, Stanley does this all the time. It's cute! Any time he stretches, I think it's cute!
My girl does the same thing. When she hops out of the crate she drags the back legs. Then she walks a few steps and streches her front legs. Don't worry it's fine. I have seen a lot of purebreds of different breeds do it. jsut like sleeping with back paws streched out behind them, its just a thing purebreds do.
Finn does that when he wakes up. I let him out of the crate, he takes a step or two (very slowly) then stretches out until his feet are sticking out behind him. It sounds like what she is doing is stretching.
As everyone else stated - sounds like you have a perfectly normal corgi on your hands lol. They do odd things like that all the time. Such as the superman pose... the speedbumb.. the sea otter and everyone's favorite the spreadoutonmaback lay.
Nothing wrong with worrying :)
