My lovely 10 week old loves to bite....Humans. Not just a littke chew but she is really chomping down hard, drawing blood on hands, feet and my poor husbands face!!

I realise it's teething but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this sort of biting at this age? She can get rather worked up and agressive..and be an angel seconds later.

Would love some strategies to use to stop what I think is her one and only flaw :-)

My Luna is 11 weeks old and a giant chewer. She just started learning the "Leave it" command at puppy kindergarten and also I replace her chewing item with an appropriate chewie - including when she chooses to chew on fingers, toes, or pant legs. Since my brother's kids stay here on weekends it's really important she learn that this isn't appropriate and she's learning fast. I also give her teething toys that can withstand puppy teeth.

The important thing to remember is to do IMMEDIATE correction. Don't let them bite anything you don't want them to bite at all, not stop them when it starts to hurt or do damage. It may be cute now - but it won't be when your dog reaches adult age, better to nip it in the bud.
