My beloved Bones is about six months old give or take! he is usually quite well behaved but lately he has had some food aggression and over protect about me, towards no other than my boyfriends 150lbs rottweiler, I have tried correcting him in the powerstance to let him know who is boss, but he seems unphased! and he barks constantly when people are home and probably when we are gone! i have tried the squirt bottle every time he barks when he is not being asked to speak and that is just not working! please help if anyone knows of any obedience classes around columbus ohio please let me know!

hmmmm, when you say food aggression is that also towards the rottweiler? Perhaps you should feed them in two separate spaces until you can work out that behavior. I think your corgi would lose in a battle with a rottweiler!! With both Soffie and Griffyn, we started right away putting our hands right into the food while they were eating and we would also pick up their bowls while they were eating and then immediately put them back down, so that they would learn that they didn't need to protect their food because they always got it back. We did the same thing with toys. While they are playing with whatever toy, we would reach down take it from them, then give it right back. I'm not sure obedience class would help you with food aggression, but it would definitely help in getting Bones more socialized.
