Hi - I am worried about my Corgi.  He chases strings and flashlights with my cats.  Is this normal?

Funny - do you have a lab?  How does Pippa act lab like?  I have a yellow lab and just curious.

Ryno and Wrigley both love chasing the laser pointer.  They know the sound of the keyring it's on, which is different from our regular keys.  They tag team the light, it is the funniest thing you have ever seen.  Ryno chases is from a chair to the front door and back-then Wrigley chases it behind the ottoman, up the couch and up the wall.

We have little lizards all over Florida, and giant cockroaches outside (they call them Palmetto bugs, but they are FLYING cockroaches!!!) and they both chase those too.  The lizards defense mechanism is for their tail to break off when caught, so there are hundreds of tailless lizards outside my house.

Wrigley is also a fierce mechanical/musical stuffed animal killer.  Ryno could care less.  She absolutely attacks and maims any stuffed animal that sings, dances, or makes a noise.  For some reason we seem to find stuffed apes and monkeys a lot for her.  The newest one sings the Pitbull song "I know you want me..." and now when she hears the song she looks around for a monkey to tear up.

Cute that they coordinate chasing the laser pointer.  You have me laughing in hysterics over the tailless lizards - gotta love our Corgs!

That's OK, my cat is starting to pick up Corgi behavior.   She'll lie on her back in the middle of the room and even sleep that way.  Or she'll do the Corgi sprawl--you know flat on the floor.  She'll also lie on his blanket and drink out of his bowl when her's is full, but I think that is a dominance thing.
