Cat Toys!

Does anybody else's Corgi play with kitty toys? My Charlie LOVES cat toys more than her own toys! She goes right into the basket and grabs mice and then runs around the house with them. Right now she's playing with this scratching toy with a ball that goes around in a circle, she loves it!

Pooka is always trying to get Raggy's catnip mini lobster. I try to stop her, but she's pretty much taken it as her own. My cat doesn't have too many toys, as he just doesn't care too much ;) but I do think dogs like catnip too.

Hannah has managed to find every single missing cat toy that we have, I think. She likes them because they're so small and she can throw them around in the air and chase them on her own!

Rocky and Rosie love this plastic track thing that has a ball in the track. They whack the ball with their noses or feet and it rolls in the track. Rosie chewed the track thing so much on the first one that I had to get another one. We pulled the ball out and popped it into the track of the new one. Now they get both balls going. We keep a close eye on them but they can't seem to get a good grip on the balls to pull them out. They really enjoy it.

Maybe not for you, but I'd say that 3 1/2 feet line of fur is plenty for him to chase after.

I meant the plastic track thing, not the bird toy!! They would destroy the bird in one pounce!!

OMG, yes! Shayleigh has destroyed all the cat toys in my house. I feel so bad for my kitties that I keep buying them new toys hoping Shayleigh won't like them!

The answer is a definite YES from us! It seems like cat toys are the perfect corgi size. I've sometimes thought that Sid thinks he is part cat, the way he likes to perch on the back of the sofa. The cat toy fetish is another sign, LOL.
