Can color spots emerge over time? Lucy is now nearly 3 years and sports the standard white chest, belly, legs, tan pants and red back and head.

A few days ago I noticed splotches of almost blonde-colored fur appearing near both of her hips--it looks like someone spilled some bleach on her red fur (of course that didn't happen). I know puppies change colors a bit--Lucy lost what looked like some black streaks on her back by the time she was 6 months--but I didn't know if adult Corgis can develop some different color patterns. She has no skin condition; I brushed the area and it's just smooth like the rest of her fur. Do I blame it on the cold and snow?

She's healthy, but I was just wondering...
