Corgis and lights?

Frodo LOVES to chase lights. He runs across the apartment any time a car drives by, so that he can watch the sun reflect on the opposite wall. In the car, he will stare at any light on the car ceiling, trying to get as close to it as he can. Headlights on his nighttime walks...that's a whole different story! Thankfully, Frodo's previous owners warned us of this behavior beforehand. It could have been quite a surprise the first time we took out a DVD or turned on a flashlight (two of his favorites!)
Sometimes I think it might be a little compulsive, but I try not to worry. Frodo doesn't really seem upset when he can't get to the reflection or anything like that. He just seems like he's having fun.
Does anyone else's Corgi display this same behavior?

try a laser pointer. little bear foams at the mouth chasing it around. i think i still have a video of it on my page. its laser pointers, mirrors (little compact ones like when i put on my makeup), flashlights, ANYTHING. its hilarious, i love watching him spaz out!!! i mean if i even open the drawer with the laser pointer in it he comes barreling in, eyes wide as dinner plates... nice to know his obsessive compulsiveness shared by another corgi, lol!!!!!!

hahaha, I know exactly how that goes. We had a laser pointer, and I made the mistake of putting it in the silverware drawer. We couldn't get ready to eat a meal without Frodo flipping out!

LOL..now that is funny. Live and learn. I haven't noticed mine doing that but will have to try it sometime. I just know the 2 that would be more likely to do it and thats Meagan or Sian. They are such characters.

We had a cocker spaniel who would chase both lights and shadows (a bird flying over was less interesting than its shadow on the ground) but she turned out to be neurotic and untrainable and actually ran away without a second glance (she never really associated us as her pack or her home or anything). Just off in her own little world...
