My corgi's breeder has passed on the word that the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club is having a seminar on degenerative myelopathy with Dr. Joan Coates in Washington at the Bellevue Hilton October 10 from 1-4pm.  Dr. Coates is an expert on this disease and is doing research.  This is open to the public--breeders and pet owners are welcome, cost is $15 pre-registered, $25 at the door.  This is a devastating disease that is prevalent in corgis and some other breeds.  For more information, e-mail Peggy Cobb at Cobb.peggy@comcast.net, Barbara Evans at evanwhitpwc@comcast.net, or Jill Miller at reveriebsd@comcast.net.
