Does your corgi do this?

I have noticed that when Freya is in the back yard she does something kind of odd. It's funny to me but I don't dare laugh at her as she's doing it.

When she's digging, she makes this strange whiny sound and then chases every dirt clump barking after it. I've never seen a dog do that til I got her. So I'm not sure how common it is or if it is some odd compulsion she's developed.

Too cute! Charlie makes that sound when I am sweeping outside with a broom, spreading straw or pulling weeds. I think he gets excited and his herding instinct takes over. He seems to be trying to herd the dirt and straw. He usually gets choked and starts hacking. Now I have to do these things when he is napping in the house. (I'm afraid he will he will hurt himself, but the noises they make can be really funny)
