For the past 3 days I noticed that Barney's face and neck was soaked wet When he woke up from his sleep or nap.
At first I thought he played with his water dish again but no.. After a couple of days examining him I realized he recently drool alot in his sleep. And this is starting to stain his white muzzle too! It's pinkish now :(

What is going on? He doesn't Usually drool alot! The wetness around his neck when he wakes up in the morning is ridiculous =\
The weather here is quite humid now but Barney does have plenty of fresh water available at all times.
I hope this excessive drooling is not serious :(

Hi Stephanie,

What is the indoor temperature and humidity?

Around 33 - 35 deg
keep the AC around 25C, if he's panting , long tongue sticking out and drooling, it's too hot.
We do have ac on at night only and fan that is constantly blowing him :/

Maybe he is really dreaming of Noms lol. Maybe I'll consider ice packs
once the indoor temperature gets up to 28c-30c, I would turn on the AC. Our Florida house is always around 25c (night)-28c (day). S'pore summer can be just as brutal, get a thermometer and keep an eye on the signs of heatstroke.
Maybe he's dreaming of noms?
I second the recommendation. If he'll let you, you can check his mouth first yourself to see if you see anything unusual like red gums or swelling. If you see either, get him to the vet.

I third. Didi started drooling a lot when she split a tooth.

Problem is even after they extracted the tooth she never stopped drooling.. Hmm.
