Has anyone had this issue?
My 10 month old Lilly had a lump. It is pretty small, like smaller than a pinky tip in size, but still alarming to feel a lump. I took her in to the vet and had it examined. They said it was just an enlarged lymph node and not to worry about it, the test came back as lymph tissue and blood cells so they said it was normal. After the test it seemed like the lump was a little harder and maybe a tad bigger.
Now a few weeks later she has a lump on the other side which is much smaller. When you press on the bigger lump she growls sometimes, but not all the time. She is kind of a testy dog though, she hates to have her feet touched and is traumatized by nail clipping, so I don't know if she is mad about getting close to her feet or if the lump hurts. She doesn't growl every time you touch it, just sometimes when she realizes that you are touching it.
Also, both of my pups didn't eat yesterday. But they have always been really picky eaters. When they were much smaller they would not eat much for a few days and then suddenly gobble food down. The past month or more they have been eating regularly 2 meals a day, so it seemed a little strange.
We have another vet appointment tonight. But any thoughts?
