female in heat

Hi! first time corgi owner =) my Sarah is 7 months old, and just finished her first period about 3 weeks ago. I'm curious because her nipple is bigger than before. I know they swell during heat, but her period ended already but its still the same size as when she was bleeding. I know..sorry for the TMI! But can someone answer me please?

Yes, they will deflate back to original size, I assume that's your question :)

Do you know how long they stay swollen? I'm just a little worried because my other dog had episodes of false pregnancies and her nipples swelled as if she was pregnant. Thanks Sam! =)

Actually I find that intact girls nipples are a big larger due to the fluctuation in hormones. They do shrink after heats but not to their original size. False pregnancies can be very difficult to deal with. Getting her spayed will eliminate all of this for you.
