Seems that one of the animal children had fleas and now it spread. While I'm getting rid of them in and out of the house and from them...

Is there something that can be eaten to deter fleas from biting humans? ?

Like, avacados or something?

i just wanted to clarify, on humans...
I'll have to remember that myself. Take a garlic pill, I didn't think it would work.
I heard that lavender is a deterrent too. I believe tea tree oil does something too. I still haven't figured out what it is about brewer's yeast that keeps fleas away from dogs. I've heard a couple of people recommend putting garlic powder and the yeast in the dry food and that would keep fleas away. Oh and I've heard the same about vinegar too, a diluted version of it. Fleas and mosquitoes don't like the acidic environment.
On this subject of feeding garlic to humans and dogs, how much a week or day to feed your corgi (per pound or ten lbs or just in general) to keep fleas at bay? Both mine ended up with them from a missed frontline application. Put frontline on and heard/read that the garlic can keep the fleas at bay.
I fed 1/4tsp to them today, first time ever.
