With the coming of spring, Riley (and other corgis) are starting their blow out of fur. But recently I've been having a nightmarish time trying to groom Riley. I've got a Furender which is similar to the Furminator. The hair that I brush out of Riley's fur has this undeniable attraction to zip back on to Riley's fur OR get stuck all over my hands. If it gets on my hands, then it's on my clothes or flying through the air in my home.

I've tried running two humidifiers for days before a grooming session - thinking that it was an issue with static - but to no avail. Does anyone have any advice on tools or grooming sprays that they use for a similar problem?

I say put on an old shirt over your clothes and groom outside. The hair makes an excellent find for birds nests! Just the nature of corgi hair my friend. Go to the great outdoors!
