My little Franklin was 10lbs when we got him at 11 weeks. He is now 17 weeks and 12lbs. Is this low? I've been following the proportions on the food but these seems like slow growth

First off, gotta say excellent name for your pup...I too have a Franklin! :-) Second, corgis mature like a large breed dog, they won't reach their adult weight until around 2 years old. Your little Franklin still has a ways to go. My Franklin was skinny/lanky until he was about 1 1/2, he was always fed high quality food in HUGE portions and he never put on weight. Then over the course of a month or two when he was about 1 year 8ish months old he gained 6 pounds, and then continued to gain by about 1/2 pound increments until he was about 2. He is now close to 3, has stopped gaining weight and is just shy of 30 pounds but is still a tad on the skinny side (where I plan to keep him). My Franklin was 7 pounds when I got him at 9 weeks old and stuck around 18 pounds for a good 8 months or so before he started getting longer and then filling out.
