Hello everyone, I did a search on the forum and found a few things that could relate but seemed a little different than what my Cloud has. Yesterday I took Cloud, who is 8 1/2 months now, to the vet to get his bordetella vaccine done. Everything went fine, he behaved like a pedigree pup and we went on our way.

Today when I woke up, roughly 8 a.m., he began to have a hacking cough, almost like he needed to cough up a hairball or vomit but nothing was coming out. Finally after 5 minutes of doing this process about 4-5 times, he threw-up a small bit of clear liquid. There was no color to it and there was no food in it, just a small clear liquid.

I was just wondering if him getting the vaccine yesterday could be related to his hacking/coughing/dry heaving this morning? One other note is that I just began to switch him from his Wellness puppy mix to the Wellness Core Ocean forumula dog food this past week as well. He's about 1/2 way through the transition from his puppy to adult food.

Any info from you guys is appreciated. I felt so bad for Cloud this morning because the hacking sounded awful and he kept doing it 1-2 times every couple minutes. Thanks everyone.
