Ok, here's the deal. Fenway is 9 months old. About 3 weeks ago he was fixed. Prior to being fixed he was EXCELLENT as far as going to the bathroom went. He would go to the door each time he had to go and we would take him out. Well, it's like we brought him for his operation and received a different dog back. Fenway has been peeing continuously inside the house. He will not give any warning he will just pee. It is like when he was younger and he didnt know any better. But before he was fixed he was trained solid! I dont know what to do and i'm not sure if this is normal????? His incision is totally healed and looks great. He isnt drinking any more water then normal. I just cant understand why he is having these accidents and not letting us know anymore when he has to go to the bathroom. Has anyone had an experience like this?!?! If so, I would love your input, I am at a loss right now, and I'm about to throw out 2 new rugs!!!!! HELP :(

Well, some corgis go through a period where they revert back to puppyhood. Perhaps this is the problem. Have you taken him to the vet? If it is something physical, they should be able to spot it. Otherwise, you just have to start back at step one with potty training.
Could it be paybacks? When I took Max to the Vets to get the cactus out she timed some long hair on his penis. He yelped like you wouldn't believe and she only cut hair.
I dont know, I was thinking he was getting back at us for taking away his manhood, but i'm not sure lol! I'm just hoping he re learns to do what he's supposed to do and if not I guess its back to square one, even though we were already SO past this!!!
He doesnt know how lucky he is!
after the operation, it will take several weeks for his hormone to settle and be regular again, so give it time, back to square one, you're almost there :)
Oh ok thank you!!! I am SO upset, I was like what did they do, what did I do?!?! Glad to hear that this is common and that in a little bit he will be the old fenway! Thanks so much :)
Yeah Ender did something similar to that after getting fixed. I was really worried about it for a while... I even took him to the emergency room because he would pee continuously (though thankfully he would do it outside of the house). They said it was fine; that it was just stress (for his body and mind) from the operation.

About a month later he was totally and completely fine.
