Poor little Jellybean Bandit has been so terribly itchy this last week... He is on wheat/soy/corn free food and nothing has changed about his environment lately.  Does anyone have experience with this? HELP!

um... If your asking what a hot spot is it's an area that will open up into a sore and weep.....they sell hot spot medicine in most pet-stores and you just need to cut away the hair around it and apply the medicine the hair removal is to allow air down to it so you don't have to remove a large area just enough to expose the sore...my sister's goldens go through this every spring I've never had a issue with my corgi's having hot-spots though. the goldens are also on the everything free food and still get them my sis's vet thinks it's related to some blooming plants as they are not persistent but last only a liitle while during the spring.
