My litle girl Sadie just turned 24 weeks (6 months) on Tuesday July 7th. I want to get her spayed before she has her first heat cycle since it has been reccommended to us. Although she is currently on medication for Giardia and I have to wait until she finishes medication which will be around the beginning of August!! If weight matters she is 14.8lbs.

I want to know what you guys have noticed are signs of your puppy getting ready for her first heat cycle, so I know to look out for it. I knew obviously once she starts I will notice the blood; but I wanted to know if there are any signs that she is about to start her heat cycle.

Please let me know!! I am hoping she doesn't start until after she finishes her medication because I have heard that corgi's start later then most dogs; but I want to be sure!!
