The second picture looks like he could have some Cardigan in him, and the length looks corgi like. I like the blending of the of the breed names-Cojack. Would that happen to be his name, also? LOL!

Haha, yeah I'm sure he got some wesh corgi in him.

His name is Carlos. Almost Cojack, but Carlos. :D

He looks to have a bit of Cardigan in him to me. My Katie was a Corgi mix. I think it was American Eskimo/Pembroke. She was a sweetheart.

Good call, Peggy. I couldn't think of a breed of dog that had brindle like other than a pit, bulldog or a cardi.

boxers, frech bulldogs...dachshunds kind of have something similar to brindle too.

It's hard to say with those 3 photos. If he is part corgi, it's definitely cardigan.

Yes, I was saying cardigan because of the brindle. But the brindle may have come from the other side of the mix. Basenji is def. a good possibility. I'd be interested in knowing what the dog's voice sounds like. I'd love to see more photos if there are any as well.

I know I am coming to this discussion a little late....but believe he could be part corgi and he may have no corgi in him. Some corgi mixes have practically no corgi traits. Some even have pretty normal sized legs. Your best bet is to do a Wisdom panel MX...its a blood test that has high reliability....it is about $100 -$125 to run, but when you think about it, its money well spent to know the truth and be able to see the different breed traits in your dog and understand why they act like they do. I will never regret the money I spent with the test that I did. If your vet doesn't regularly do it, they can easily order one for you. It requires a kit (which can be ordered singually so your vet doesn't have to bulk order) and all the vet does is draw the blood and send it off for you. Takes about 2 weeks to get it back.
