For the past several months I've been very into holistic pet care. I have seen I huge difference in all my animals from the attitudes (Lyla has more energy and Sky is calmer, both great!), to the health of their coats, and even a decrease in gas! It has been a combination of several changes that has helped, and I completely SOLD on holistic food and care. Now I want to tackle the tartar on their teeth! Neither of them are bad since they are both so young, but I want to clean what is already there, and then keep it that way. My new favorite book is the Holistic Guide for a Healthy Dog (I think I reference it several times a week!) and it suggest an extract called Fragaria for tartar control. The only place I can find it for sale online is ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Fragaria-Vesca---Removes-Tartar-%26-Plaque---Pe...), and it makes me a little nervous buying supplements on ebay, but it does support a rescue which must be good. Has anyone used Fragaria before or heard anything about it? Thanks!
