Foxy is 11 months old and I have noticed a time or two that when she gets up from a nap she limps for a minute.  Seems to be her front leg.  I've felt both front legs and they seem the same and she doesn't indicate it hurts.  She shows no sign of limping after a walk or play time.  Any suggestions?  Should I be concerned or just monitor her for now?  Thank you

It takes everyone a minute to get moving when they wake up, doesn't it? haha :)

Has foxy recently had a growth spurt? May just be some growing pains, should pass soon

She hasn't had a real growth spurt that I have noticed, but I did wonder if dogs got "growing pains"

Same here with Wally between his 9th and 11th month of age.

He would limp a few times coming back from Daycare romp and running with other dogs, so I thought he just had a little bend or hurt his little paw.  No pain from moving the joints, his pads here fine but sometimes I noticed that his middle nails where chipped closer to the base.    If this happens I noticed he tends to stand on his front leg more sideways then usual.

Also, when I bring him to the groomer where gets his nails filed (rotary bit) he usually returns to his hopping self real fast.   I prefer the filing of nail apart from cutting.   It seems to last quite longer.

Linus had hurt himself a few months back. Not sure what he did but he was limping as well. He was favoring his front right paw consistently. We leash walked him only for a week and didn't let him jump up or down, and it wasn't improving, so we took him to the vet. Vet gave Rimadyl and we continued to leash walk and carry him up stairs and onto/off of furniture for another week and then he seemed fine.
