So last week Adora was playing with a dog at the dog park, when she walked away from playing with the one dog she was limping, and when she stopped she had her left paw up (the one she had broken a toe). I looked at her paw and there was a pine needle between to pads, I don't know if it poked her or not. Now every time we go to the dog park starts to Limp, I have noticed that she only really limps when we are walking on the gravel trails, and sometimes on walks when walking on rough or bumpy serfaces . At first we couldn't find or notice anything unual, we made sure she didn't rebrake the toe she broke months and months ago. Now 2 days ago we noticed a lump on the side of the big pad. she doesn't seem to bothered by it. I can hadle her paw, touch it and what not and she doesn't fuss or wimpter. I really want to take her to the vet but i just got laid off of work, and i don't want to pay lot of money(that i don't have) to find out it is something minor and easy to make her better. If it is a concern than i will do anything for her esspecially if she starts being painfull or harmful to her. So if anyone could help me figure out what it could be and things i can try before taking her into the vet. We started putting Bag Blam on it a couple times a day, and it seems to help a little. Any tips and information will be helpful.

Anyone have any idea, it has been a week and i am really concerned.

1. Wash his foot with antibacterial soap, make sure to rinse it properly
2. Dry the paw pads and gaps with a dry towel
3. Pour betadine or hydrogen peroxide over the blister and let it to air dry.
4. Wrap the paw and ankle with gauze and tape in a figure 8 pattern around the paw and ankle
5. Put a sock or bootie over his paw

You may need antibiotic if it gets infected. Avoid rough terrain for now and get well soon!
My guess is maybe part of the pine needle is still in there, and didn't come out. The body will wall it off and possibly form an abcess. I think it would be wise to go to the vet. Alot of times they will let you do a payment plan if you're having a hardship at that time with money.
