Okay so I know that corgi's are known for their noises and they are adorable. KC didn't really do this until last month when she got fixed, altered whatever the PC term is lol. Since then she seems to make all sorts of noises! Lately she has gotten really mouthy at night. This wouldn't be too bad except that it is all night long! I have tried just ignoring her, she sleeps in her crate and she only does this when she is in there at night. If we let her sleep on the bed or loose she is quiet all night long. I have another dog who sleeps in his crate right next to hers, quietly, all night long. I don't think it is fair to make him sleep in the crate and she gets to stay out, but I am having a tough time not giving into her so that I can sleep through the night. When my husband get up at 4:30 to go to work he lets both dogs out to go potty and then they come back in and get to sleep on the bed with me until 6:30 when I get up for the day. I have considered putting her crate somewhere else in the house but I am afraid she would wake up the kids instead of just me. And I am afraid it would escalate to barking not just grumbling. I don't mind her little noises and grumbles most of the time, in fact the other morning when my husband let them out to go potty she jumped on the bed and when he told her to come on I swear she told him No. Literally that is what it sounded like, plain as day. We both looked at each other and laughed. I was just wondering if there was anyone that might have some ideas on how to quiet her down. LOL.
