Midas-The Incredible Hulk!(or so he thinks)

Just curious but does anybody else hear their dog slam in to doors with all they've got? Midas will do this from time to time when we leave. He started this about 3 months ago and it sorta scared us at first. We had to stop and listen, and what we heard was hilarious. He will actually frap and then aim himself at the door. Is he really happy that we left?! Or is he just trying to break through the door to come with us? He won't always frap, sometimes he just runs straight for the door. He has never hurt himself as far as we know. It's just very strange!

Frosty does this to doors when we are in the house. Every time we go into a room and shut the door (usually the bathroom), Frosty will whine - cry - frap around for a second - then stand up and slam his front legs against the door to knock it open. Not sure where he picked it up, but we learned pretty fast after bringing Frosty home, that you either leave the door open, or you make very sure its latched cause he will bust it down. lol! He has never actually hurt himself or the any of the doors. He never does it on doors that go out of the house either, only on door connecting rooms inside the house.

Izi does this to doors she wants to open. We have to keep our bathroom and closet doors closed because she likes to chew trash and shoes. I've caught her a couple times, after one of us has come out of either, just run full force into the door trying to open it. It's quite funny, though I feel bad for her poor little head. The best one by far was when we were visiting family who had a sliding glass door. Guess who didn't realize there was glass there and ran full speed into the door.....yeah. She looked up at me like what the heck just happened.

Gosh and here I thought my girl was weird for busting open doors...Hmm I never read about this habit in the books but Ive just decided its easier on the doors to just accept I never have to brush my teeth alone again.
