First of all, we would like to thank all the members who've submitted photos and purchased the
2009 calendars! We had a great success and have raised over $1000. We have donated $700 to
Sunshine Corgi Rescue and have since saved $300 for this year upcoming partial printing cost. (yes, we fronted all the printing cost last year) We hope to sell even more calendars this year and to help other rescues around the country. Now that we are a 501c3 non profit charity, we have more ways to save on shipping and printing cost! Lower production cost = more money goes towards different rescues.

Jennifer, Sam will make the announcement soon. JUst keep watching the site!
I have an idea-
everyone submit your photos when thats available and then the top 12 or 13 (cover) go on the paper calander. The other high scorers that do not make it into the calander can go on a digital desktop day calander. This way, those who want a paper calander get that and those who want a 365 pic a day calander get that. Sounds like a copromise to me. As for the small calanders, I guess that would be based on demand.

I almost forgot, I would take 2, possibly 3.
I like the digital desktop calendar - great idea Jill and Kari.
I just thought that a paper calander with a new dog each day wouldn't really be in the budget because of the production cost that would translate into the product cost. A regular 12 month calander at $14 is a steal compared to the commercial ones out there and this money goes to a good cause to boot. A digital one is fairly easy to make and theres 365 more chances that your dog can be in it. Also there can be more variation to view be it rescues, wheeled, cardigan, mixed breeds and so forth.
We will be ordering two.
I don't use a big calendar though I would buy a few to help our corgis, I would like a small one, like us ladies keep in our handbag.
$14 is a good price on a calendar, since it is for a great cause and will have great pictures. We can't wait to get ours.
i def want to buy one, and maybe even have my pup in it hehe ^^
Can there be montage pages so more corgis can be in the calendar?
The thing is, the big pictures are just so pretty! It would be a shame not to have the large monthly pics, but I really like the idea of filling up unused days on the month with smaller corgi pictures. If thereare 6 "weeks" alloted per page, 6x7 = 42 spaces per month = 504 spaces per year - 365 days means 139 extra pictures of corgis! Sounds good to me!
how wonderful a project! how much do the calendars cost? i will order a few for christmas presents and gladly try to sell some at our local state fair. ps. i am partial to action shots and tri's ! kim k
