First of all, we would like to thank all the members who've submitted photos and purchased the
2009 calendars! We had a great success and have raised over $1000. We have donated $700 to
Sunshine Corgi Rescue and have since saved $300 for this year upcoming partial printing cost. (yes, we fronted all the printing cost last year) We hope to sell even more calendars this year and to help other rescues around the country. Now that we are a 501c3 non profit charity, we have more ways to save on shipping and printing cost! Lower production cost = more money goes towards different rescues.

Just think Sam the USA Ox Cart hauling the mail all over America will be stopped at the border, inspected and be made to put on snowshoes, before entering Canada.

Just to let you know the calendars are wonderful and we have managed to put holes in without making it look like Swiss Cheese. Oh, that sounds good, a little leftover Christmas ham, a couple of slices of rye and some spicy mustard.

Lunch is calling so before I close, I hope you had a Merry Christmas in-spite of the continuing Soap Opera calendar story and from my family to yours, a very Happy New Year!!!
Nothing again today.
and me! Poor us in the old North.... :)
i live in ma and i received my calendar yesterday. it looks great such great pictures.
i'm bummed i missed the chance to get my corgi calendar!
Some of the west coast members have just received theirs, should be in the north west area soon.
But you would think it would have been in Utah by now...a bit closer to FL than CA.
This is no time to be bringing up the "R" word. We are Corgi owners, no dog owner is more determined or is more patient than we and no dog owner can laugh in the face of really, really late calendars as we can. We own and Love Corgis, one of the funniest and most pig-headed breeds in all of History. Rest assured the government run Postal Ox Cart is weaving across the U.S.A. over mounds of Global Warming Snow, through Global Warming Blizzards, fending off Freezing Global Warming, (never before scene) temperatures, just to bring you - christy fry - your 2010 Corgi Calendar.

And think how lucky you are, just above you Sn0fl8k3 is bummed that she missed out on all this calendar anticipation fun we have all been experiencing. So, chin-up - christy fry - hang in there and just keep breathing and singing Que Sera Sera or a meditation HUMMMMMMMMMMM always worked for me, it could for you as well. I have had lots of practice humming, every time Clancy grabs one of my unmentionables out of the laundry basket and takes it to the living room and goes under the futon where I can't reach him.
I think maybe she meant (or at least I was considering) that the printer should give some of sam his money back for not really getting their job done. I can't imagine they got them out as soon as they should've and that this is all the postal services fault. Though it could be.
It is absolute fabulous the resourcefulness of the Corgi owners on this site. I just grabbed my box of Mini-Binders that I had lying on the desk from Staples and they hold the calendar just fine and with one flap down and one flap up for hanging you hardly know it is there. I can stop punching holes and I think in the future I will be buying all my calendars holeless

I was thinking there must be at least a dozen reasons why and here are just a few I came up with:

1. The hole messes up the picture making it unsuitable for framing after the year is up. (See Above)
2. The hole makes changing the calendar from month to month physically more difficult.
3. The hole will often tear when changing the month, thus leading you to tape over the torn hole.
4. The mini-binders are much cuter than the hole.
5. The mini-binders can also be used to hold notes on the calendar as well.
6. If they punch it in the wrong place you are stuck with a crooked calendar.

I can't think of any more right at the moment, but I am sure some of you out there might be able to come up with a few more reasons why we should never buy another calendar with a hole in it.
Yup, except we'd have to special-order them hole-less from the printer! ;)
This is really getting complicated. We ordered them with holes and they came holeless, now if we want them holeless, we would have to order them that way?

Do you think they would charge us extra for ordering a calendar that always comes with a hole, but didn't and now doesn't?
