Hi I have a 18 month Pembroke Welsh Corgi that has been acting strange since I came home from school. He's acting scared to come close to me and yelped when I tried to pick him up. He goes into his crate and sits all the way in the back staring at the side of the wall. I noticed him eating some food before going into the crate, but he didn't drink any water. He doesn't respond to any type of play, toys, treats, lasers.... etc. Just looks depressed and scared. Please any insight to this would be great. Thanks

Wonderful news that he's 90% back to normal!
That's good. Hopefully it was just a minor sprain or something similar. Finn acted a similar way. It has been coming and going for months and x-rays show that he has bad hips. We have pain meds to give if needed but we reserve those for days when he has been extremely active and a limp is imminent such as when we've been to the dog park or he's spent the day playing with my Mom's Corgi. I hope your little guy feels better soon!
