We had Colby Neutered on Friday, and ever since then he has been a little more tired than he usually is... but we figured that is normal after major surgery. He still has the occasional frap, but we try to calm him down so that he does not rip his stitches.

Before Friday, he lasted over 1 month without an accident in the apartment. He is 6 months old. He goes to the front door, sits down, and stares at us when he needs to pee. Since the surgery, however, he has had 2 accidents. Both times, he didn't squat (like he normally does) but it was like he peed while walking or turning around. We noticed there was a little trail of pee from where he was walking. We would notice it, and then take him out where he would finish peeing.

Is it normal for dogs (especially 6-month old puppies) to have less control over their bladders after getting neutered? At least in the short-term following surgery?
