UPDATE: July 4, 2010 Well, we knew the day would come. With absolutely
no donations and our fundraisers not working, we have decided to close.
Its not something we wanted to do, but funding this out of my own pocket
is simply no longer possible. We have such enormous vetting bills this
year that it has eaten up nearly the entire budget for this year, and we
have no more to help dogs in need. With foster homes becoming
increasingly hard to find, and donations at a stand still, we have made
the toughest decision to close.

We saved 24 dogs last year and 20 this year. We worked hard and tried
our best, but the time has come to say good bye. Thank you all for your
support and assistance. Our last operating day will be August 21, 2010.
We hope we can reopen one day and continue helping both our beloved
Labradors and all of you great adopters. Until then, God bless and best
wishes!
