Does anyone know if orange juice is okay to give to your dogs? It's organic juice so it doen't have any additives. Ellie really likes it but Yuki wont go near it. I'd like to know if they can have it in small amounts, but I don't want to give them something that might hurt them. Please let me know what you think or direct me to some information that would be helpful. Thanks every one, and safe holiday driving!

Hi! I would be very careful with juice because of the gylcemic index (sugar). A very thinly sliced piece of apple would be less of an immediate sugar load. Sincerely, Nancy
I would also be worried about the citric acid in the orange juice. It may give you dog an upset tummy.
I agree with Lou Ann....too much acid for a pup's belly. Plus, every dog is different so even if Ellie likes it and can handle it, Yuki is probably just listening to what her body is telling her. My Dia is allergic to peanuts but we didn't know that until she stole some from her brother, Boscoe. That wasn't a good day.
