Penny started peeing in the house again now that we got a new puppy!!

My boyfriend just got a 3 month old pomeranian puppy. Penny loves her and loves playing with her but every time they play together i come in the room and find a big puddle of pee. I know it's penny because I caught her doing it the other day and also because the pomeranian would never pee that much haha! What should I do? I don't know why shes doing this. Any suggestions?

It might be because Penny is overly excited and she loses control of her bladder. I heard of some corgis that do this when visitors come, etc. My parents' shih-tzu does this especially if there is a visitor and she is picked up by them. If she seems really happy about the new addition, this might by why.
Unfortunately this is very common whenever there is a new dog in town, the existing dog will often relapse in potty training, you'll need to work with both of them back to square one, watch them like a hawke and as soon as you see the "circling" and "sniff", bring them both out immediately. The more you bring them out often, the younger one can learn from the older one and get the idea quicker. Since the puddle happened while you're away, it is not "submissive" or excitement type of urination. Start planning the neuter / spay, it will make you life that much easier. Good luck!
