So two days ago CoCo woke up with a scab near the corner of her right eyelid. When I noticed it, I swiped it off and it was bright pink but no blood came out so I applied some Neosporin on it. Today, the skin looks like it is completely healed but it's still a very light pink color. So heres my question: will the black pigment of her eyelid come back or is it going to stay pink forever? I'm very worried that the black pigment is not going to come back. Has anyone had this experience before? Thanks in advance.

overtime it will not be as pink, but you will still be able to tell from up close.
My poor CoCo, that was what I was afraid of.
Thanks Sam.
Our Tri corgi Max has had some eye problems and has been to vet numerous times just for his eye(s). Right before thanksgiving the blackness aorund his right eye was slowly disappearing and turned pink. After they tested him for some type of mange that said could cause this, and that came up negative they believe it is some type of inflammation. They gave us some pills (steriods) and told us to use some prescribed eye drops for dogs that we already had. It's only been a week that we have been giving him this medicine but it looks like a little bit of the blackness around his eye is coming back slowly. Most of his eye problems would start off in the corner...like a sort of pus but yours just looks like a scab as you mentioned.
