My 12-year old healthy active cardigan has been diagnosed with a plasmacytoma on his paw near the nail.  This is his 3rd one, but not on the same paw.  The vet originally talked about radiation, but given his age, I ruled that out.  After the vet read his medical records and saw that he had been treated for this before and recovered after surgical removal, she changed her mind and decided to go with surgery.  I was wondering if anyone has had this same experience.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
