So, Hannah has actually been doing pretty well with her leash training. She enjoys going out for walks and rarely has a tantrum while leashed. However, she absolutely refuses to let me put the leash ON her. I'll tell her to sit, and she does, but as soon as she sees the leash, she bolts in the other direction. Even if I give her a treat after sitting and attempt to hook the leash while she munches on it, she still catches on. How the heck to I get her to sit still for this part? I really don't want to chase her around the house each day and wear myself out before we go on our walk. Lol!
Also, I've noticed that she often "digs" wherever she's at (floor, bed, crate, etc.) before she lies down. She doesn't do it every time, but it's pretty common. She'll spend a good, full minute doing so before she decides to get comfy. She'll also bite a bit at the spot where she's digging. She doesn't do any damage or anything, and I think it's kind of cute, but I was just wondering if this is typical behavior. Is she just trying to "make her bed" before she lies down or what?
