Proper fitting harness

We have spent a small fortune attempting to find a harness that fits our Corgi, Spice. She has a neck problem and our Vet has instructed us to use only a harness when walking her.

Any suggestions?

have u tried the step in harness that just goes around the shoulders? that works really well with teddy and its light weight and easy to put on. theres also some from yuppie puppy who makes good harnesses that wont allow her to pull but doesn't go around the neck and is padded

I use shoulder harness's also with great results!! They can't back out of them and they are way easier to put on than a regular harness.

check your local Walmart they sell the shoulder harness's in my area for around 10.00 dollars which is way cheaper than a petstore. Both of the shoulder harness's I have came from Wallyworld.

Walmart is a good place but you cant bring your dog inside for try ons, Jeannie, try looking up a local dog food supply, they are by far the best source. they have experienced staff, and way better princes probably the same as walmart. and they carry SO much dog related products its crazy. you can bring your dog in side and they can fit the harness to your needs. I never go to the chain pet stores, they are convenient i must say, but double the price. You'll probably find it in your local yellow pages or try asking people w/dogs you know where they are in your neighborhood or at work. Thats how I found mine. My Katie has had the same harness since she was a pup, i was lucky to find a good one right off the bat when she was young and its fully adjustable.
