Question... Corgi related but I didn't know where to put it.

Moose likes to pounce on our bed when we lay down to go to sleep and last night he pounced right onto my ribcage, and it really hurts today and I'm starting to get a bump there now. I'm not going to the dr or hospital unless it starts to bruise but I was wondering if they'd call animal control over something like that? I mean it was an accident. He pounces up there and lays down with us for a little bit before he jumps off the bed, goes into his cage, and goes to sleep. I'm afraid they'd call animal control if I go to the hospital if it starts to bruise over something that wasn't intentional.

No, not unless it was a bite. The protocol to call animal control is only for rabies.

Just let them know your pet accidentally landed on you.
I wouldn't forsee them calling animal control either. The day my mother adopted their bichon, Buddy, from the humane society, he accidentally made her face plant into some fresh asphalt and sent her to the ER for stitches. No animal control called there, so I think you're ok.
Thanks guys :) it hasn't started bruising at all, but I took some advil to help with the pain and it's helping some. If it lasts longer than the weekend I'm gonna go somewhere.
My sister's got biten breaking up a fight between her dog and a foster that required a trip to the er they did call animal control and it was reported as a Bite to owner or something like that the only contact she had from animal control was a phone call wanting the rabie's number that's it
