I had Freya on Blue Buffalo Puppy formula and just recently switched her over to Taste of the Wild Pacific formula. It's an all life stages formula and I'm concerned that it is too rich for her system? She's vomited it up a couple of times...and she's been on it for a few weeks now. She doesn't eat as fast as she used to with her puppy food so I don't think she's getting sick because of that.

Her energy level hasn't changed, she is a bit mopey though. She poops normally and everything else is spot on.

Try Blue Buffalo for adults. I have had both Nala and Cosmo on it for a year now. They both love it. Try comparing the ingredients (which I'm sure you already did). Wellness is another good food.

How did you started Freya? 25/75, 50/50 combinations? (little by little), or just everything at once? You can keep her on Taste, for one more week, see how it goes. Good luck.
Oh I've been introducing it to her little by little. She's been fully on it for the last two weeks. She's regurgitated it a couple of times. At first I thought it was because she wolfed it down, now she isn't. Maybe fish is just too rich for her tummy as she's only had lamb and chicken up to this point. I want to try Wellness but I can't find anyone locally who sells it.

What are your thoughts about switching to adult food even though the pup is 6 months old?
It's fine, you may need to feed a little more because of the difference in nutrient needs.
sweet, thank you very much:D.
