Hey Everyone! 

I have been researching and would like to get advice. A month ago, I noticed that Ein (aka Einstein) had a white spot to the left of his left nostril on his nose. I struck me odd, as it was a perfect circle. My mom mentioned that he could have hit it or scraped it. I thought I would keep an eye on it and took a picture ( I will post as soon as I get it off my camera) just in case. Well over the past day or so I have noticed that it has gotten a little bigger...and is still a perfect circle.

Having done alot of research my findings are as follows:

It is not Discoid lupus erythematosus, which is a skin rash. It does not look anything like a rash.

It is not ringworm.

It does not appear to have ever been an open wound or scab.

It is not sunburn or windburn, or crate burn (when the dog rubs his nose on a metal crate). Ein is inside during the day, only going outside to potty or play fetch for a few minutes, then its back inside. Currently the TN weather is too hot and humid to stay out for very long.  When I leave, he is not crated. 

It is not a bug bite or bee sting/wasp sting. I don't see any bites or puncture marks and it is not swollen or red. 

I was not sure if anyone else would have any other suggestions. I have to be honest, that I am slightly worried. Also for the fact that when Ein was a puppy, about 6 months old, he was diagnosed with having a benign tumor growing on his shoulder that he had to have surgically removed. I guess my old fears are coming back that it could be some other form of this type of tumor, or some kind of skin cancer. I am a worrywart especially with Ein, as his is technically my "kid". Any advice, sites, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
