So a couple of weeks ago, I found Stanley ripping apart his supposedly indestructible toy and when he saw me, he ran off in the other direction.  That was a sure signal to me that he had something in his mouth he didn't want me to see.  Sure enough, he had found some plastic bit that we embedded in the toy.  I was able to get that piece from his mouth so he didn't swallow it.

Fast forward a couple of days later, we awoke to the sound of Stanley vomiting.  Robin cleaned it up and said there was a hard piece of plastic in it.  So we assumed that was it.  But since then, he's now thrown up twice more.  But the last two times, there was no hard pieces or nothing discernible in the vomit.  So I'm wondering what to do?  It's always the same time pretty much, always after sleeping all night, he'll wake up around 5am and vomit.

It's happened 3 times total.  Otherwise, he's completely fine.  He's eating normally, acting normally, pooping normally.

Thoughts???

Update on Stanley:

So last night I gave Stan some peanut butter before bedtime. This morning at 6:30am, I heard Stanley vomiting. So we went to go check on the little guy. This time, there was something in his vomit. As far as I could tell, it was another piece of plastic. So I'm hoping that's it. I can't imagine he ate any more of that plastic than what he's already vomited up. Fingers crossed!
hmmmm.... anything in his poo? Most times, when Griffyn ingests something he shouldn't, is comes out both ends. : ) ( sorry for that "visual"! )

and on another note.... I wonder if peanut butter is the best choice for a late night nibble, might be a bit greasy?? Perhaps a biscuit my be better. Just my thought : )
Nothing in the poop as far as I can tell! I really hope this morning's session was the last of it.

It's funny because somebody else suggested that a biscuit might not be good, too dry. So who knows?? LOL. Stanley's a happy camper with any treat I choose :)
Wow, thanks for this topic. I always wondered why Milly was a puker and why in the morning. On occasion there has been food that looked undigested but usually just a liquid bile. Happened this morning as a matter of fact at 6 AM:(

The peanut butter is a great treat that we use regularly. She recognizes the jar so we are stuck for ever more with the same brand of peanut butter to make Milly happy;)
yay! I hope he got it all out! In the 20 rocks Franklin has eaten (yes 20!!!) I have only had 3 vet visits, and only 1 required surgery. He was able to pass all the others on his own. He's a sneaky little devil and even though I watch him like a hawk he will resort to sticking his head under water in the river and scooping them up! I've been trying to get him obsessed with sticks and balls and we have been rock free for 2 months now! Yay!
