Does anybody have any idea why Seanna might do this?  Before they go outside she runs upstairs, into all the rooms, comes back downstairs, runs around the living room/dining room/kitchen in the same path every time before she runs outside.  While I stand there, holding the door, yelling at her to go outside.  I think she's looking to chase the cats, but can never find any--so why does she keep doing it?  It's very aggravating!

I'm guessing it's just happiness and excitement about being able to go outside. My corgi Foxy, runs around the table every time before he goes outside.

I am not sure why she does this, but one thing I do know, from personal experience, is that both my corgis seemed to like routine,my chuckie(r.i.p. buddy)would never like to deviate from our normal walk pattern,it would take a lot to get him to go a different way,Benson seems to be the same, unless mine are going somewhere special, they seem to like routine,I have recently reading a book by Patricia.B.McConnell called ' the other end of the leash' it really gives some good insights , I recommend reading it.

My theory is that it is the herding instinct.  She's checking to make sure the "herd" isn't going to go astray while she's gone... Again, it's my theory.

she has ocd.lol

Rounding up all her imaginary friends to go with her!
