Peachy went into heat literally three days before her appointment to be spayed, and that was about two months ago.  She is no longer menstruating, but her vulva and nipples continue to be swollen.  We don't have a fence so she is never outside without a leash, and we do live with two male dogs but they have both been neutered for years now. 

I'm wondering is this a false pregnancy and if so do I have to wait until it ends to get her spayed?  Or is it possible she has just been in heat for two months?  Also, has anyone else had any experiences like this?  I would hate for anything to be wrong with my little princess!

BTW she has a vet appointment on Saturday for her vaccines and I intend to bring this up, I just wanted to know what everyone else had to say before I go in there.
