The Furminator! Great for shedding but ruined my corgi's coat

If you own a Corgi I am more than sure you are familiar w the Furminator.
I have always been a huge fan of the Furminator up until recently when I realize it had ruined my bastian's coat!
Has this happened to you?
Like most corgis, The root of Bastian's hair is very very light and not bier black like his top coat. Well after using the Furminator a few months ago I noticed what looked like highlights!
The hair that the Furminator removed grew back as tan and not black! I was very upset and will not be using it anymore!
The Furminator not only removes dead hair but also removes hair that is still in your pets coat.
If your pemmie or cardi has a coat like mine does do not use the Furminator! It will change it's coat !

Then perhaps you need to listen to what has been said and stop arguing with the people who have said it. I use it on my tri male and it does not change his color. He has gone from a very black over lots of his body as a pup to much more tan with a black saddle. It's just the way his adult coat has come in as he has grown. He's now almost 4 years old and finally isn't changing color as much but still gets furminated the same amount.
