Toy suggestions?

Any new challenging toys out there that I should know about? I'm always looking for new ways to occupy Ellie's mind while I have to be away from her during the day. Let me know if you have some good suggestions--I think she is a little bored with the ones she has. I have learned that stuffed toys are not necessarily a good option for Corgis as they love to tear a hole and pull out all the stuffing.

I also recently bought a Tux toy for my Cardigan. I put 1/3 of his meal in it and mix it with peanut butter and freeze it. He loves it. Its easier to get the kibble than some of the interactive toys in the link above so a good starting point. And the toy is durable and fun to fetch with.

I would definitely go with Melissa & Franklin's post for interactive games if your corgi is kibble driven.

My Charlie is not, he eats his kibble little by little, but he enjoys rawhide bones alot. The first few times you try them, be around your corgi while he's eating it so you can judge whether he's ready for rawhide or not. Otherwise, my corgi loves this toy (http://www.amazon.com/Petstages-220-Stages-ORKA-Stick/dp/B000HHQ4JM...) just for chewing. The rope eventually fell out, but he loves the blue rubber part so much.

And finally in the end, i used to have a puppy cam set up in my home to watch Charlie while I was at work, and he pretty much sleeps all day when i'm not home. Most dogs do, so even if you buy toys for your pup, keep in mind that he may just end up sleeping anyway. Just remember to go for long walks in the morning, then vigorous play before you leave for work (so they get tired and sleep) and then repeat when you get home :).
