im not sure what im doing wrong but when ever i want to teach teddy a trick he gets all submissive  like he has done something wrong but if i use treats he gets so excited and wont listen(same thing with toys). heres and example, today i was trying to teach him roll over, i would put him in the lay down position but when i would try to get him on his back he would stand up. i tried for 20 mins and gave up.. i know hes smart but i cant teach him if he gets submissive, i even try to make it fun. another trick i tried was high five, he learned it all his own but i gave a name to it and then he loved doing it when he could but when i tried to make him do it so he could get a treat he would do it, he actually ran with his nub pressed against him and ears flattened like he was scared. i dont know how to make him realize that doing tricks is a good thing...has this ever happened to any one before??? and another thing i wondered was does anyone have their corgis earn there food but doing tricks? he knows a bunch of  commands but his only tricks r: down, sit, beg, spin and get your toy/brink it back

any info would be awesome, thanks!
