my puppy became an exciteable piddler recently (about 14 wks old)!! when i first got him (8 wks old) i was so relieved (after meeting my friends cousins dachsund pup) that he wasnt an excited piddler.. but he did struggle with some sepiration anxiety, i could never leave him alone without him crying and bothering everyone else in the house!! so i got some information papers from my vet about how to help his anxiety.

after following that routine of not paying attention to him until he calms down when i get home, as well as waiting to leave the house when he's totally calm and not nervous thinking im going to go, he dribbled his first piddle on my carpet getting out of his crate in the morning.. he gets SO excited now when you even get NEAR him if he's missed you enough that even ceasars 'no touch no talk no eye contact' DOSNT STOP HIM FROM PIDDLING!!!! it didnt get bad until after he got fixed. before then it was maybe once a week, and just a few drops. now its almost every day and graduated up to a tiny puddle. he's house broken now except for crate overnight, and i dont know what to do about this problem. please help >o
(He pee'd on the floor a little where i work today when my best-friends b/f-also co worker- came up to pet him, thats the last straw! its so EMBARRASSING!!!)

Sounds like he is not getting out frequently enough. At 14 weeks I can assure you he is not housebroken. I suspect getting fixed has nothing to do with this issue. He is growing and developing quickly at this time and you may notice many changes. You may also consider the possibility that he may have a urinary tract infection. Frequent urination is a sign. Sounds like he also needs more of an energy outlet. Good luck.
a few times a week he has one of his puppy friends over and they wrestle for atleast an hour. he goes places with me every day, i run with him, we have at least 15 minutes of training sessions a day and i ware him out with fetch. i fractured my foot and ankle but i still managed to take him on an hour long walk around the neighborhood. the color of his urine is really light and it dosnt have an odor really and it dosnt seem to bother him to pee.. and no hes not 14 weeks anymore he's about 18 weeks and theres been no accidents in the house unless its just from getting too excited. he goes and sits at the door if he needs to go out, and if he needs to go bad enough he whines and pees right when his paws hit the grass. he's a good pup.
Check and see if he's got UTI, at 18 wks, his maximum of time of holding is about 4-5 hrs, physically he is not fully develop to hold longer than that, also he will relapse around his teenage phrase, it will be in your best interest to continue with crate training until 9mo - 1 yr. In the mean time, make sure your carpet is clean very well, section off the crate so that it is only large enough for him to turn around, if it helps, put the crate closer to the door for easy clean up. Good luck!
it's also natural for puppies to pee when they are excited. the best thing to do is every time he pees in the wrong place pick him up mid pee and take him to where you want him to pee (on a pad or outside). we did this spencer and within a few weeks he was totally potty trained. he's 7 months and people keep telling me there is no way he's potty trained, but he hasn't had an accident in 3 months and he now has started to sit by the door and make noises when he needs to go out.
yeah when he widdles from excitement i pick him right up and put him outside and he pees then. he's doing good with getting house broken, its been about two weeks since he's even pee'd by the door. he just cant seem to hold his bladder if he needs to pee when he gets excited..
