I have found some fleas on my puppy. I really don't want to put a flea collar on her or other chemical dips. Any other suggestions.

My vet recommended Frontline Top spot for Gracie. She is about 18 weeks old now and 15+ pounds. We had found a tick on her earlier so my vet recommended it. My vet's practice is holistic and traditional medicine so they are very particular. You might as your vet about it.
You can give her cooked garlic in her food. Just a little bit. Or you can take a mixture of garlic powder and room temperature water and spray her with it. It is all natural and won't hurt her. Or you can use frontline or something that isn't very harsh. Your vet will know what you can give her. Personally last time I had a bit of fleas I went to walmart and got those drops that go behind the neck and all were gone in a few days. And I have multiple dogs. I hate fleas and only see one or two when the weather changes. Grrrr
I realize this is an older post, and hopefully you have your answer now, but for all of those other holistic pet owners out there looking for answers....here's what my vet recommended.

I've used an herbal dip product by Halo Pets for my dog, called Cloud Nine. I've dumped the vile of it into his shampoo as a preventive measure, but I do think you can use it as a dip for when you find fleas. You can buy it through the link below.

Hope this helps! I'd love to hear what you ended up doing with your pup.
